STEINWEIN. STEINWEIN is grown in the vineyards round about Wurzburg. Since the Middle Ages it has always been bottled in the famous squat Prankish flagons called " Bocksbeutel." It is a wine of great elegance and rare bouquet with quite a surprising amount of body and flavour in spite of its pale colour. 1921 HOCKS AND MOSELLES. A magnificent vintage, considered the best for a generation or more. Particularly the Hocks. The wines are very full, round, and vinous. The Hocks have great keeping properties.
