205. Golden Fiz Is made the same as the gin fiz adding the yolk of egg. 206. Swiss Ess ~ wine-glass maraschino. ~ do. absinthe. White of I egg. Shake well, strain in bar glass, fill with seltzer. 207. Major Newson 3 dashes lemon. I tablespoonful sugar. 1 wine-glass gin. I egg. 3/i glass milk. Shake well, strain in bar glass, fill with seltzer. 208. Low Ball ( Use champagne glass) wine-glass whiskey. Fill glass with seltzer. 209. High Ball ( Use champagne glass)
Fill ~ full of seltzer. Float whiskey on top.
210. Gin and Pine (Use wine-glass)
Split a piece of the heart of a green pine log into fine splints, about the size of a cedar lead-pencil, take 2 ounces of the same and put into a quart decanter, and fill the decanter with gin. Let the pine soak for two hours, and the gin will be ready to serve. 61
