1936 Shaking in the 60's by Eddie Clarke
(Originally a Russian Spirit.) Distilled from grain or potato. Colourless and very potent. Hardly any taste or smell. These are Whiskies aged separately in various distilleries, then married together (or blended)in special mixing vats. Then they are stored away in casks for further ageing. This is Whisky distilled from Barley Malt in a Pot Still made from moistened Barley which has then been left to sprout. It is kiln dried. (A Kiln is the Scottish name for oven.) American name for a Whisky guaranteed from one distillery and of ioo% Proof. It is not a blend, not even ofages and con tains no colouring or sweetening matter. This Whisky is also bottled in Bond. Simple name which means so much. The dictionaries tell us it is the fermented juice offreshly gathered grapes. Name given to wine or spirits which have taken on the smell of the cask, either through the use ofbad wood in the making of the cask, or that the liquid has been stored in it for too long. (A Vodka.) Green in colour, made so by inserting the herb Zubrowka, which also gives the spirit an almond flavour.
