THE ROVING BARTENDER

SOFT OR TEMPERANCE DRINKS

In making soft drinks for the home,nearly any kind of fruit or berry juices can be used, but it's always best to have either lemon or lime juice to give life. Charged water, Seven-up or ginger ale may be used for variety and all make good thirst quenchers.

frigerator. Before serving add ice and water to fill pitcher. Garnish with cherries and or ange sections. Stir. 6 10 oz. glasses. GINGER ALE LEMONADE _ Same as plain lemonade using ginger ale instead of water. Stir. 1 oz. grenadine 1 oz. lemon juice 3 cubes ice, 10 oz. glass Fill with charged water. Stir. Fruit. LIMEADE Muddle or squeeze 5 half pieces of limes in mixing glass with 1 spoon bar sugar. Put in cracked ice and six ounces wa ter. Shake and pour all into 12 oz. glass. Fruit. Straws. GRENADINE PUNCH

BLACK TEA PUNCH

1 oz. lemon juice 2 oz. orange juice 6 oz. strong black tea 6 cubes sugar

Rub 3 of the cubes over the rind of good fresh lemons 'till all 6 sides are impregnated with the oil. Do the same with the remaining 3 cubes and fresh oranges. Pour all into 16 oz. glass with 2 cubes of ice and a squirt of seltzer or other charg ed water. Stir well and add fruit.

COLA LIBRE

lime in 8 oz. glass. Fill with Coca Cola.

CONCLAVE

IK oz. Raspberry syrup 4 oz. sweet milk

3 cubes of ice in 10 oz. glass Fizz with seltzer. Stir. Fruit.

MILK SHAKE 1 oz. raspberry syrup 1 Fresh egg 6 oz. milk

FRUIT PUNCH - PARTY OF SIX

8 oz. lemon juice 12 oz. orange juice 6 oz. raspberry syrup 16 oz. apple juice

Shake and sift nutmeg on top. Other syrups may be substitut ed for the raspberry. Use 10 oz. or 12 oz. glass.
