It is, then,the purpose ofthis book to help and guide those who have been unfortunate in their initial training, and others,towards a higher standard of proficiency in their respective Cocktail Bars. Whilst accepting this, in passing let us pay tribute to the United Kingdom Bartenders' Guild, who, as a body, have accomplished so much in recent years towards raising the standard of bartending to its present-day efficiency and prestige.
