6 lemons, in slices. gallon of brandy. \ do. 1 Ib. of white sugar. 1J quart of water. 1 pint ofboiling milk.
Jamaica rum.
5teep tbe lemons for twenty-four hours in the brandy rum ; add the s\igar, water and nulk, and when well mixtd, strain through a jelly-bag. 'iTiod punch may be bottled, and used afterward hot or cold. Half -the above qiiantity, or even less, may be made, as this reoqvd is for a party of twenty.
