Advocaat (Dutch Liqueur.) Made from egg-yolks, sweetening and a basic spirit ofbrandy.

Akvavit

(Scandinavian, highly rectified spirit.) Distilled from grain, potatoes or various other products, flavoured with caraway seeds, and colourless. Is a pure spirit liquid and the intoxicating element offermented liquors. Obtained by the distillation offermented sugar or any othersubstancescontaining carbohydrates. (ABasqueLiqueur.) Pale Yellow in coloim, very sweet and flavoured with Angelica and other aromatics.
