The name given to the deposit thrown by red wines during the process of ageing in their bottles over the years,especially Port. (Dutch Liqueurs.) Originally made from green Curacao Oranges,and fortified with Brandy, now various types of oranges are used, sweet digestive liqueur, in colours of orange, white, red, blue and green.

Cuvee
Name given to the method used to separate the Alcohol from a liquid. Heat is applied which causes the Alcohol to vaporize,then by cooling it again, it is reverted back into a liquid. (Scotch Liqueur.) The name signifies a "last drink", made in Skye from a recipe presumed to have been brought over from Holland in 1745 by the Pretender. Made from Scotch Whisky, honey and herbs. Golden in colour.

(Burgundy Wines.) Grown in the vine yards and bottled on the same estate as with the Chateau Bottled Clarets.
