Estate Bottled

(Italian Aperitif Wine.) Is used mostly as a Bitters. Made from herbs, etc., and has wonderfiil digestive properties.

Fernet Branca

French term for describing a Brandy from an unknown source.

Fine

(American Liqueur.) Orange in colour, highly alcoholic. The flavour is a mixture of grapefruit and orange. (French Liqueur.) See Creme de Menthe. This is the white variety.

Fraise de Bois (Frencfl Liqueur.) Flavoured with wild strawberries.

Finings

Is the substance added to new wine,which sinks slowly to the bottom and collects and takes all sediments with it, rendering the wine clear and bright. (Italian Liqueur.) Sweet, aromatic and light in colour. Flavoured with flowers and herbs grown on the slopes of the Alps. There is a twig placed inside the bottle on which the sugar forms into crystals of rock candy.
