COCKTAILS

Planter's Punch (Jamaica) Use a very tall tumbler. Fill glass with shaved ice. Add:

2 good dashes ofAngostura bitters I teaspoonful oforange Curacao I good measure ofJamaica rum

juice of 154 limes or i lemon I teaspoonful of Grenadine Stir well, decorate with slice of orange and a cherry. Serve with drinking straws. The recipe for the old Rum Punch is as follows: one ofsour (limejuice)

two ofsweet (sugar) three ofstrong (rum) four ofweak (water)

Tiger's Milk (Bangkok) the contents of i egg

54 liqueur glass Creme de Cacao 54 liqueur glass Cherry Brandy 54 liqueur glass Benedictine 2 liqueur glasses Italian Vermouth

Shake well, and strain into a goblet glass. Sprinkle a little grated nutmeg on the drink before serving.
