Anisette. Aniseed, powdered, 10 oz. Cummin seed, powder ed, 1 oz. Orris root, powdered, 1 oz. Lemon peel, 3 oz. Pure spirits (30 U. P.), 2 gallons. Capillaire, 3 J_Jts. 1:acerate tho lemo n peel a nd powders in the spirits fo r about 30 days. After :filtering at.Id the capillaire. Aqua Bianca. Essence of a 111 ber, 1 4 oz. Essence of l emon, 14 oz. Essence of peppermint, lJ.l oz. i;;sseucc of citr on 1 14 oz. E ssence of bergamot, 1/. 1 oz. Essence of rose, lf:: oz. 'aprnairc, 5 pints. Mix; shake often and in 30 days filter t hrough flannel. Citron. L emon peel, 12 oz. After macerating t he p eel in tho spirits fo r 2 week s add the capillaire and saffron. Citronette. L emon peel, 10 oz. Essence of saffr on, 1 oz. Proof spirits, 2 gallons. Capillaire, 1h gallon. Essence of saffron, l % oz. Essence of amber, 14 oz. Essence of orange, 1,4 oz. Essence of bergamot, 1 drachm. Orange flower watei', 14 gall on. Syrup, lh gallon. P r oof spirits 1 214 gallons. Mix; let stand 30 clays; then press, a nd :filter. Age improves thi& beverage.
